The mission of the Courageous Float Foundation is to provide access to drowning prevention education. We believe this can be achieved by providing training and essential resources to children that may not have access to these resources otherwise.
Courageous Float Foundation was founded by Mittie Owens in early 2023. Mittie saw a desperate need for bringing water safety skills and information to the families of Arkansas. There are over 2000 named lakes in Arkansas, and with every lake season comes risks and unfortunately tragedies. Courageous Float Foundation is Mittie's way to help families in Arkansas and beyond take lifesaving measures to protect their children and families.
